Privacy & KVKK Notice

The data controller is Barzak Lojistik Dış Ticaret Limited Şirketi ("we"), which operates the EXAMEV brand and website. Its registered address and registration details are on the Seller Information page. You can reach us at support@examev.com.

Identity and contact data (name, email, and phone if you give it); account and education profile (role, school, grade, target exams, language); learning data (answers, scores, progress, saved items); transaction data (orders, amounts, invoice details); support messages and ratings; security data (sign-in records, device and browser type, IP address, server logs).

Card details are entered on the payment institution's secure page and are never stored by EXAMEV; we receive only the result of the payment and, for renewing plans, a card token held by the payment institution. Optional identity-verification and analytics data are described in sections 11 and 12.

We use data to create and protect accounts, deliver the products you buy, personalise practice, take payment and issue invoices, answer support, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal duties.

The legal grounds are performance of the contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c), legal obligation (5/2-ç), establishing or protecting a right (5/2-e) and our legitimate interest in security and improving the service (5/2-f). Optional identity verification and analytics rely on your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Directly from you through sign-up, profile, checkout and support forms; automatically while you use the site (learning activity, security logs, essential cookies); and from the payment institution about the outcome of a payment.

Only what each one needs: a payment institution licensed by the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye for card payments; our hosting, database, email and security providers; Google, only if you choose Google sign-in; our accountants and legal advisers; and public authorities when the law requires. We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising.

The EXAMEV database and application servers are in Frankfurt, Germany (EU). Some providers are based outside Türkiye: Vercel Inc. (hosting, USA/EU), Neon Inc. (database, servers in Germany), Resend (email, USA), Cloudflare Inc. (bot protection, USA) and Google LLC (optional sign-in, USA). These transfers are made under Article 9 of KVKK, using standard contracts where required, and are limited to what each service needs.

Account and learning data are kept while your account is open and deleted or anonymised within 30 days after you delete it. Order and invoice records are kept for 10 years as required by the Tax Procedure Law and the Turkish Commercial Code. Security logs are kept for up to 2 years; analytics events for 90 days. Data is protected with encryption in transit, access control, hashed passwords and regular backups.

Under Article 11 of KVKK you may learn whether your data is processed, request information about it, learn the purpose and recipients, ask for correction, deletion or destruction, ask that recipients are told, object to a result produced solely by automated systems, and claim compensation for unlawful processing.

Send your request from your account email to support@examev.com, or in writing to the address on the Seller Information page. We answer free of charge within 30 days at the latest. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Board (KVKK Kurulu).

Many students are minors. Accounts of users under 18 should be opened and purchases made with a parent or guardian's consent. We collect only what the learning service needs and do not use students' data for advertising.

A student may choose to verify their identity to earn a verified badge and a one-time discount. On the basis of explicit consent we collect the name on the ID, the document type and issuing country, a photo of the ID and a selfie holding it.

The two photos are seen only by authorised staff and are permanently deleted as soon as a decision is made; we keep only the outcome, the verified name and the time of the decision. Verification can be refused or withdrawn at any time without affecting purchases.

If you accept analytics cookies (and, when signed in, keep the analytics preference on in Profile → Privacy), we record the pages you view and how long each stays open, the buttons you click, page errors, the site or app that sent you to EXAMEV (for example a social network, a search engine or the campaign tag in a link), your approximate city and country, device type, browser and a partly masked IP address, to find problems and improve the platform. We never record what you type. Authorised staff can see this per account. It is deleted after 90 days, and you can withdraw consent at any time from the cookie settings in the footer.

We send commercial electronic messages (campaigns, new question banks, announcements) only if you agree: with the optional box at sign-up or with the Marketing email / Marketing SMS switches in Profile → Privacy. Each channel can be turned on or off separately, at any time, free of charge; every message also explains how to stop them.

We keep a record of each consent and withdrawal (time, where it was given, IP address and the text version), as required by Law No. 6563 on electronic commerce and the commercial electronic messages regulation, and register consents with the Message Management System (İYS) where required. Service messages such as receipts, security alerts and password resets are not marketing and are sent without this consent.
