What changed for 2026/27
- According to the Ministry of Education, grade 12 exams from 2026/27 are half multiple choice and half written questions.
- So you must write clear steps and reasons, not only pick the right option.
- Subjects and marks can differ between Thanaweya Amma and the Egyptian Baccalaureate; check the official announcement for your track.
Subjects
- Arabic (reading, poetry, prose, critical concepts, grammar, Al-Ayyam), English (six units and the novel).
- Physics, chemistry, biology, pure and applied maths, statistics, history and geography.
How to study with them
- 1Sit a chapter-one exam in each subject before revising.
- 2Read the “What to study next” card after marking.
- 3For written questions, answer on paper, then compare with the model answer.
- 4Mistakes go to Mistake review and come back until you get them right.
The night before the exam is for redoing old mistakes, not new material.
